Set in the beautiful grounds of Punt Road Winery in Coldstream, the Yarra Valley Farmers Market has been a beloved fixture of the region since its inaugural run in March 1998 - making it Victoria's longest-running monthly farmers market. Organised by the Yarra Valley Regional Food Group Inc., it's a lively, convivial gathering where local growers, producers and makers sell direct to the public, with no food miles and no middlemen. Expect a visual and aromatic feast: fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, locally baked bread, free-range eggs, fresh meats, unusual jams and preserves, honey, chocolates, fresh-ground coffee, herbs and spices, and much more.
