MarketsGuide Terms of Service

1. About MarketsGuide

MarketsGuide is a free directory that helps people discover markets across Australia. We provide accurate market information, photos, search tools, and features such as saving favourites and following markets (when you create a free account).

We also provide tools for market organisers to claim and manage their listings.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts

• You can browse most of the directory without creating an account.
• Creating a free account allows you to save favourites, follow markets, and receive optional notifications.
• You may sign up using Google or email.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You can remove your data anytime from Account settings on the website. If you only use MarketsGuide as a visitor, that removes your account. If the same login is used for organiser or vendor features, you can clear your directory profile and activity on the main site while keeping access to those apps. 4. Organiser Features

Market organisers may claim their existing listings or create new ones. By claiming or creating a listing, you represent that you are authorised to act on behalf of that market.

We reserve the right to review, approve, or remove any claimed or created listings at our discretion.

5. Vendor Interest Survey

Any information you provide through our vendor interest survey (hosted on Tally) is used solely to help us understand vendor needs and improve future features. We will only contact you if you explicitly opt in.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information when claiming a market
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Upload harmful code, viruses, or spam
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users or market organisers

7. Intellectual Property

All content on MarketsGuide (including text, photos, logos, and design) is owned by us or our licensors, unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission, except for your own market listing if you are the verified organiser.

Photos and information provided by market organisers remain their property, but you grant us a licence to display them on the Service.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that all market information is 100% accurate or up to date (although we strive to make it as accurate as possible through organiser confirmations).
• We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from your reliance on the information on the Site.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
