About this market
Warrandyte Riverside Market unfolds along the banks of the Yarra River at Stiggants Reserve, stretching from Anderson's Creek Bridge in the west to Police Road in the east - a setting that makes it one of the most scenic community markets in Melbourne's east. Managed not-for-profit by a committee of five local organisations (including the Rotary Club of Warrandyte, Lions Club, and North Warrandyte CFA), all net proceeds are returned to the Greater Warrandyte community through sponsorships, grants, and partner payments. Up to 180 stallholders fill the reserve with handmade goods, fresh food produce, plants, jewellery, skincare, candles, and more - with organisers actively favouring the unique, handcrafted, and hard-to-find. Operating under licence to Manningham City Council and Parks Victoria, it has earned a reputation as one of the largest and best-organised community markets in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there parking at the market?
General public car parking is not available in the main Stiggant Street car park during market days. Designated parking is available along Yarra Street (north side) opposite the Warrandyte Grand Hotel, next to the Stonehouse Gallery, and opposite Webb Street. Additional parking is at the combined sporting ground (Taroona Ave), behind the Warrandyte Community Centre, the North Warrandyte Community Centre, and in Brackenbury Street next to Warrandyte Primary School. Disabled parking is available in the lower car park at the bottom of Stiggant Street - show your disabled sticker at the gate.
How do I get there by public transport?
The market is served by four PTV bus routes: route 906 from the city via The Pines Shopping Centre, route 364 from Ringwood Station, and routes 579 and 580 from Eltham Station. There is a bus stop at the market entrance.
Can I apply for a stall?
Applications are accepted via the website, but the market is currently full for the rest of 2026. You may still submit an application - success depends on cancellations and how well your product mix fits current offerings. Stall sizes are 3.2m wide by 3m deep (single sites only, no powered sites, no food trucks). If a site becomes available, organisers search their application database and email suitable applicants an invitation.
What are the site fees?
2026 site fees: Table Site (3.2m x 1.5m) - $55; Standard Site (3.2m x 3m) - $80; Standard Site with car space - $90; Premium Site (3.2m x 4.5m with car space on bitumen) - $100.
When does the market run in December?
December has two markets: the regular first Saturday, plus an additional Christmas market on the third Saturday of December.
