Tasmanian Made Christmas Market

Tasmanian Made Markets fills the Silverdome with handmade artists from around the state for a weekend of early Christmas shopping. Founder Cat Hocking set up the market to help Tasmanian makers succeed in business, so every stall is someone's own handmade work. Stallholders praise it as well organised and friendly, with a strong local crowd. Kids get their own activities and a chat with Santa, which makes it an easy family outing as well as a good place to find one-off gifts. The Christmas edition is part of the Tasmanian Made calendar, which also includes a Winter Market at the Silverdome and Winter and Christmas Festivals at PW1 in Hobart.
