About this market
Behind Closed Drawers is a pop-up fashion market built around giving preloved clothing a whole new life. Stalls are filled with good-quality preloved, vintage, handmade, upcycled and some brand-new clothes, shoes and accessories for men and women, in sizes from petite to plus. The organisers curate each market for a balanced mix of styles and body shapes, so stock changes from event to event and rewards a patient browse. The aim is simple: bargain fashion for the local community and fewer clothes ending up in landfill. The market has moved to a new indoor home at the Launceston Conference Centre at Door of Hope in South Launceston.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I bring cash?
Yes. Only some stallholders have EFTPOS and there is no ATM on site, so cash is best. Bring a bag for your finds too.
Can I try clothes on?
Check with each stallholder first. Some may ask for a few details or a small prepayment.
Are returns or exchanges available?
All sales are final unless you arrange something directly with the individual stallholder.
When is the best time to arrive?
Arrive at opening for first pick of the best pieces. Arrive later for a quieter browse and possible end-of-day bargains.
What can stallholders sell?
Only men's, women's or unisex clothing, shoes, jewellery and clothing accessories. Items can be new, preloved, handmade, vintage or upcycled. Children's clothing, toys, homewares and books are not permitted. Stall applications are made through a short online form on the Booking page.
