About this market

Nestled on the beautiful school grounds of Tamborine Mountain State School in the Gold Coast Hinterland, the TMSS Markets have been a cornerstone of the Scenic Rim community since 1995. Now in their 30th year, this not-for-profit market is run by the school P&C and draws up to 130 stalls showcasing fresh local produce, artisanal foods, handmade crafts, boutique clothing, hardy mountain plants, vintage treasures, and unique collectibles - all sourced predominantly from growers and makers across the Scenic Rim region.

Every last Sunday of the month, the mountain comes alive with live music from local musicians, the aroma of hot food and fresh coffee, and a family atmosphere that keeps visitors returning month after month. Since 2020 alone, the markets have welcomed over 100,000 visitors and contributed more than $140,000 directly to school initiatives including a literacy program, an adventure playground, and nature play areas. Every purchase here supports something meaningful.

Is there an ATM on site?

Yes, there is an ATM available at the markets.

How do I apply to be a stallholder?

Visit the Apply page on the TMSS Markets website for all stallholder information and to submit your application online.

What else is there to do on Tamborine Mountain?

The mountain has plenty to explore - Gallery Walk shopping precinct, Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens, Rainforest Skywalk, Thunderbird Park, Glow Worm Caves, and several local wineries and distilleries including Witches Falls, Cedar Creek Estate, and Tamborine Mountain Distillery.
