Visitors browse an eclectic mix of stalls - from locally grown fruit and vegetables, farm-fresh eggs, artisanal bread and homemade jams to hand-sewn clothing, jewellery, woodwork and unique home decor. Live music from local acts adds a relaxed, festival feel to the mountain air, while the Lions Club and food vendors keep the crowds well fed.
The showgrounds sit at the heart of one of South East Queensland's most-loved day-trip destinations, making the markets an easy add-on to Gallery Walk, nearby waterfalls or the many hiking trails. Parking within the grounds is available, with gold-coin donations supporting the local State Emergency Service. Registered service dogs are welcome; all other dogs are kindly asked to be left at home.
