About this market
Held on the fourth Sunday of each month along the oak-lined Druid Avenue in Stirling - about 20 minutes from Adelaide's GPO - the Stirling Market is a long-established and genuinely community-rooted affair. Stalls span an impressive range: rare native and exotic plants, seasonal fresh produce, homemade jams and preserves, baked goods, local wines and oils, original arts and crafts, jewellery, needlework, soaps, candles, pottery, wrought iron, books, antiques, and collectables. The market is run entirely by volunteers, and all net proceeds are donated to community organisations within the Adelaide Hills Council area - more than $30,000 given back this year alone to schools, sporting clubs, men's sheds, heritage restoration projects, and more. It's a genuine village market with real purpose behind every stall.
