    About this market

Rapid Creek Markets is Darwin's oldest running market, transforming the Rapid Creek Business Village into a bustling, colour-filled celebration of tropical produce and Asian street food culture every Saturday and Sunday. Situated about 10 km from Darwin CBD, the market draws shoppers with an extraordinary range of organic and tropical fruits and vegetables - think durian, purple dragon fruit, pandan leaf and drumstick pods - alongside fresh seafood, cuts of meat, dairy, flowers and bakery goods. Beyond fresh produce, visitors browse local arts and crafts, jewellery, exotic plants, handmade chutneys and jams, skincare, clothing and gift items across more than 100 stalls and stores. The Street Food Park brings authentic Asian and multicultural cuisine to the table - laksa, Thai noodles, Sri Lankan curry, roti wraps and tropical smoothies - all enjoyed to a backdrop of live music. With the majority of stalls undercover and free parking for over 130 cars, the market is genuinely easy to visit year-round regardless of Darwin's tropical weather.
