Piccadilly Market at Deakin Waterfront

Piccadilly Market started at Deakin's Waterfront Campus, and for more than 16 years it has been one of Geelong's best-loved makers markets. A few times a year, the campus halls fill with 60-100 local stallholders, depending on the season. You'll find artists, designers, jewellers, candle makers, fashion labels, gourmet pantry producers and even local authors with bookish gifts. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Most of the browsing happens indoors, while the courtyard is set aside for food trucks, coffee and drinks. The December edition is billed as Geelong's original and biggest Christmas market, with over 100 stalls, and it's a favourite for finding unique gifts. Afterwards, many visitors wander along the Geelong waterfront.
