Nestled in the Piazza at the heart of Myrtleford, this VFMA-accredited farmers market celebrates Victoria's High Country through the lens of true seasonal eating. Each monthly gathering is themed around what's genuinely in season - connecting visitors face-to-face with the growers, cheesemakers, bakers and makers who call this stunning alpine region home. Locals and tourists alike turn up to shop, learn and linger, while cooking demonstrations and live entertainment add warmth to the morning. A few times a year the adjacent Church Hall opens for an intimate artisan market - 'Il Mercato' - showcasing handmade wares alongside the regular produce. Founded by TAFCO Rural Supplies with backing from Regional Development Victoria and the Alpine Shire, the market puts money directly back into the regional community with every purchase.
