About this market

Every Wednesday afternoon, local growers, bakers and small food businesses set up on the market green at Warrnambool Community Garden. The not-for-profit garden runs on six acres beside Albert Park and the Miura Friendship Garden. The market works like a mini farmers market with a grow-local mission: products aim to come from within 200km of Warrnambool, so the vegies, plants, preserves, bread and freshly made meals are seasonal and often picked that day. It is low waste and community-minded, and your spending goes straight back to local micro-businesses and their families. Arrive early to wander the communal beds, the kids garden, the Chook Hilton, the bush food plantings and the award-winning quarry amphitheatre before you shop.
