Port Fairy Farmers Market

The Port Fairy Farmers Market is a twice-monthly Saturday institution held at the Port Fairy Showgrounds site on Railway Place. Set in the heart of this historic seaside town, the market brings together local growers and makers offering seasonal fruit, vegetables, flowers, honey, native and exotic plants, preserves, wine, cheese, cakes, eggs, fudge and much more. Its central location, friendly stallholders and consistently high-quality produce have made it a favourite stop for both residents and visitors to the Great Ocean Road region - and it earned a feature in the 2007 Guide to Farmers' Markets: Australia and New Zealand. New stallholder applications are handled by discussion to assess suitability, reflecting a considered approach to the mix of vendors on offer.
