About this market

Each November, the tree-lined streets of Eltham transform for one unmissable Sunday as Commercial Place and Eltham Town Square fill with the region's most talented makers, bakers, artists and designers. Organised by the Eltham Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Artisan Christmas Market is carefully curated for quality and originality - no mass-produced imports, no wholesale filler - just handcrafted gifts, gourmet treats and genuinely local creative work. Strong preference goes to makers from Nillumbik Shire and surrounds, giving the event a distinctly community character that reflects Eltham's identity as one of Melbourne's most creative and naturally beautiful townships. Whether you're ticking off Christmas shopping early or simply soaking up the seasonal spirit, every stall is worth stopping at.
