Bazaar Makers Market

Bazaar is Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre's annual end-of-year makers market. Stalls spread across the centre's front garden and croquet lawn, and some sit beneath the London Plane trees. A selection panel of WFAC staff and craft and design sector representatives chooses every stallholder for quality, originality and a strong connection to Western Australia. The result is a lineup of WA-designed ceramics, jewellery, textiles, fashion, woodwork, prints, stationery, toys and homewares. First Nations makers and art centres such as Spinifex Hill Studio, Martumili and Kimberley Aboriginal Fashion Textiles and Art feature alongside established designers and first-time emerging makers. It is a go-to for locally made Christmas gifts. The weekend opens with a Friday twilight session.
