About this market

Farmer On Your Plate is an annual community festival hosted by Farming Champions, a WA not-for-profit dedicated to bridging the gap between city consumers and the regional farming families who feed them. Held at the Esplanade Reserve in Fremantle, the event brings together Western Australian farmers, producers and growers for a free family day of food, conversation and hands-on agricultural education. Visitors can browse local food and produce stalls, take in agricultural displays, hear regional stories directly from the people behind the paddock, and let kids explore where their food actually comes from. After a hiatus in 2025, Farmer On Your Plate returns in 2026 with its signature mix of community warmth and genuine paddock-to-plate purpose.
