About this market
The Alexandra Spring Fair welcomes the warmer months to the High Country. It is one of the town's best-loved community events, run by the Alexandra & District Traders & Tourism Association. Rotary Park fills with more than 50 stalls offering handmade arts, crafts and local treasures, plus gourmet food stalls and local wineries and breweries pouring tastings. Live music plays throughout the day and children's amusements keep younger visitors busy, so it is easy to make a full family day of it. Because it falls on Melbourne Cup long weekend, the fair draws visitors from across Victoria who turn the four-day break into a regional getaway. Local accommodation often books out months ahead.

How much is entry?
Adults are asked for a $2 donation, and children 15 and under enter free. Donations support the volunteers at the Alexandra Visitor Information Centre.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the fair has to be postponed because of bad weather or other circumstances, the organisers will reschedule it to the next best available date.
Can I buy local wine and beer?
Yes. Local wineries and breweries offer tastings and sales alongside the gourmet food stalls.
How do I book a stall?
Register your interest through the Spring Fair stallholder page or the Alexandra Events booking portal. The team will be in touch within 7 days. Stallholders need their own public liability insurance, marquee, tables and 20kg weights per marquee leg. Food vendors also need a Streatrader registration.
