The Grant Street Monthly Market brings craft, produce, and community spirit right into the heart of Alexandra's shopping precinct on the first Sunday of every month. Organised by the Alexandra & District Traders & Tourism Association (ADTTA), the market closes half of Grant Street to traffic so that stalls, visitors, and the street itself become one lively scene on an all-weather bitumen surface - rain or shine, summer or winter. Expect a mix of art and craft stalls, local produce from across the Murrindindi Shire, plants, jewellery, pet supplies, live music, and children's amusements, all within easy reach of the town's cafes, ATMs, and retail shops. The market is deliberately placed in the main street to encourage Sunday trading and build momentum for the wider Alexandra township - making it as much a community investment as a weekend outing.
