About this market

Tucked beneath the towering karri forests of WA's deep south, Walpole Community Markets bring together local farmers, artisans and small business owners in the scenic grounds of Pioneer Park on South Coast Highway. The market runs on a fortnightly Saturday schedule across the warmer months (October through April), with a friendly, unhurried atmosphere that reflects the spirit of this close-knit wilderness town. Expect fresh organic produce, handmade crafts, locally produced honey, hand-carved timber pieces, artisanal food and a mix of unique regional souvenirs - all accompanied by live music and the easy camaraderie of a community that genuinely supports its own. Special themed markets mark key dates on the calendar, including a Christmas Market in December and an Australia Day Market in January. The markets are proudly supported by the Walpole Community Op Shop and coordinated through the Walpole-Nornalup Visitor Centre.
