Held every third Sunday of the month at the historic Old Butter Factory in the tiny village of Uki, the Buttery Bazaar is one of the Northern Rivers' most characterful monthly markets. Nestled in the spectacular Tweed hinterland below Mount Warning, Uki sits just 40 minutes from the Gold Coast and under an hour from Byron Bay - and the scenic drive through mountain country is very much part of the experience. The Bazaar keeps the village buzzing all morning with a relaxed mix of trash-and-treasure stalls, plants, food vendors, and quality coffee, all set beneath shade trees beside the river. If timing is right, you might catch the hillbilly sounds of the locally beloved Perch Creek Jug Band drifting through the crowd.
