Corner of Campbell and Lindsay Streets, Toowoomba QLD 4350
Set beneath the iconic windmills between the Cobb and Co Museum and Queens Park Botanic Gardens, Toowoomba Farmers Market is the Darling Downs region's weekly gathering point for growers, makers and foodies. Every Saturday morning the site comes alive with stalls spanning seasonal produce, local meats, hand-made bread and pastries, pasta, honey, eggs, herbs, seafood, wines and spirits - all sold direct from the people who grew or made it.
Alongside the core produce offer, a carefully curated rotation of local artisan stalls brings handmade soaps, beauty products, leather goods, steel and woodwork, and jewellery into the mix. Professional musicians perform from around 8am, and generous seating means you can settle in with a coffee and a plate of something warm while the kids explore. The neighbouring Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Cobb and Co Museum make it easy to turn a market visit into a full morning out. Free street parking and off-street parking accessible via Lindsay Street make getting here straightforward. Most stallholders accept both cash and card, and a dog hydration station at C and M Barkery means well-behaved dogs on leads are genuinely welcome.
