About this market
Established in 2019, The Makers Markets - Toowoomba is a large community market at the Toowoomba Showgrounds on Glenvale Road, held on the second and fourth Sunday of each month. Expect 100+ stalls spanning handmade crafts, jewellery, homewares, fresh fruit and veg, food trucks and specialty bites, with live music and kids' activities giving the morning a festive community feel. Free entry and plenty of on-site parking make it an easy outing for Darling Downs families and visitors from Brisbane (about 90 minutes away).
The same team also runs quarterly Twilight Markets at the showgrounds — evening events in the Founders Pavilion from 3pm to 8pm that run rain, hail or shine. Check the website Events Calendar or Facebook for twilight dates.

When are the markets held?
The regular Makers Markets run on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 8am to 1pm at Toowoomba Showgrounds. The team also holds quarterly Twilight Markets from 3pm to 8pm — check the Facebook page or Events Calendar for those dates.
Is there parking available?
Yes - the Toowoomba Showgrounds has plenty of on-site parking, free of charge.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Note: the vendor code of conduct prohibits animals inside the pavilion, so check signage on the day.
How do I apply for a stall?
Submit an Expression of Interest via the Vendors page at themakersmarkets.com.au. Approval invoices are sent 3-4 weeks before each event. Public liability insurance to a minimum of $10 million is required.
What is the cancellation policy for vendors?
Written cancellation at least 7 days before the event date secures a credit of site fees. Cancellations after this point are non-refundable.
Are there toilets on site?
Yes - toilets are located in the main building at the Toowoomba Showgrounds.
