About this market

For three days each spring, the historic Meander Valley town of Deloraine becomes a giant open studio. The Tasmanian Craft Fair brings together around 230 exhibitors across four venues and three galleries. More than 80% of them are Tasmanian, alongside a select few from interstate. Every piece for sale is made, designed or created by the exhibitor. Woodcraft, glass, textiles, fashion, sculpture, ceramics, visual arts and providore goods sit side by side. Working exhibits and demonstrations let you watch pieces take shape and talk technique with the makers. Run by volunteers from the Rotary Club of Deloraine for more than 45 years, it has grown into an iconic event that welcomed over 20,000 visitors in 2025. Families, home decorators and serious craft lovers make a weekend of it, with live music, kids activities, food courts and gallery shows along the main street rounding out the experience.
