Tallarook Farmers Market

Tallarook Farmers Market is a much-loved community institution nestled at the foothills of the Tallarook Ranges, running on the first Sunday of every month (except January) since 2009. An initiative of the Tallarook Mechanics Institute Committee, the market is held at the newly rebuilt Tallarook Mechanics Institute and draws loyal support from local producers and visitors alike. Stalls span a wide seasonal spread - expect fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, bread, mushrooms, cheese, beef, pork, lamb, wine, beer, olives and olive oil, pasta, honey, ferments, cereals, jams, preserves, chocolate, and pastries alongside handmade goods from local artisans. Freshly roasted specialty coffee and live music from local musicians complete the Sunday morning atmosphere.
