About this market

Presented by the Rotary Club of Seymour, this community market has found a new home in Kings Park, the showpiece of the region's parks at the southern gateway into town. Stalls spread through the 1200 square metre undercover Seymour Exhibition Centre and out onto the surrounding grassed parkland. Local artisans bring handcrafted jewellery, bespoke clothing and home decor, and food stalls serve gourmet burgers, artisanal pastries and freshly prepared dishes. It is a family outing with live country music and children's activities. Local community groups take turns on the gates, and every gold coin collected goes straight to their cause. Beyond the gates, money raised by the market supports Rotary community projects. The market runs on fifth Sundays, with special editions for a Christmas twilight market and Australia Day. It also makes an easy base for exploring Seymour and the wider region.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often does the market run?

The market runs only when a month has a fifth Sunday. Special editions are added for a Christmas twilight market and for Australia Day. Check the website or Facebook page for confirmed dates.

Where do I enter Kings Park?

Enter from the main southbound approach into Seymour on Tallarook Street, or from Leslie Street opposite the swimming pool.

Where does the entry donation go?

Local community groups staff the gates with Rotary buckets. All gold coin donations collected go directly to that organisation.

How can I become a stallholder?

All vendor types are encouraged to apply, whether casual or permanent. See the vendor rules and vendor application pages on the market website. Community groups that want to run the gates can email seymourrotarymarket@gmail.com.
