    About this market

Held four times a year at St Anne's Anglican Church in Highfields, this long-running market and car boot sale is one of the area's major community events, drawing hundreds of visitors each time. It's a relaxed mix of private car boot sellers offloading second-hand goods, craft stalls, home baking, cakes, jams and relishes - giving shoppers a genuine range of finds from pre-loved treasures to handmade treats. The event is run as a community fundraiser: proceeds support the church building fund and other projects, with 10% donated to local and rural charities, so every purchase has a purpose beyond the bargain. Beyond the stalls, the church also puts on a sausage sizzle and Devonshire teas, making it a comfortable morning out for families and regulars from across the Toowoomba to Crow's Nest corridor.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Who can book a stall?

Anyone with second-hand goods, crafts or a local business to promote is welcome to book a site. Bookings may close up to 10 days before each sale. The organisers reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings.

How much does a stall site cost?

From February 2026, site fees are $20 (includes public liability insurance cover), or $15 if you hold your own public liability insurance. Fees are payable on booking.

    What are the parking arrangements?

Stallholders enter from the Highfields Road entrance. Shoppers and browsers should use the car park and enter from the Kuhls Road entrance. Roadside parking is discouraged. No vehicles may move within the market area between 8am and 12 noon - this is a strict safety requirement.

What happens if the event is cancelled?

If a sale is cancelled, stallholders who have already paid will receive a credit towards the next event. Stallholders who cancel up to 24 hours before an event also receive a credit; cancellations within 24 hours or non-attendance result in forfeiture of fees.
