Somerville Saturday Market

Held in the grounds of St Andrew's Anglican Church opposite the Somerville Hotel, this long-running community market has been bringing locals together since 1993. Stalls spread across the grass outside the hall and inside, offering a cheerful mix of books, plants, cards, cakes, household items and bric-a-brac alongside the church's own op shop. It's the kind of unhurried neighbourhood market where you can grab a sausage sizzle or a coffee and cheese toastie, linger over live music, and bump into people you know - all while supporting a community institution that uses proceeds to resource its church life and local outreach.

The market runs on the second Saturday of each month (except January). Space is in high demand in October, November and December, so stall bookings are essential in those months.
