About this market

Run by the Ringwood East Traders Association, this relaxed village market brings a mix of stalls to Knaith Road Park, tucked behind the Ringwood East shopping strip. It moved here from the old station car park when level crossing removal works began. Expect a little of everything: something tasty to sample, something beautiful to take home and the odd bargain. Local community groups also staff information stalls where you can learn about nearby clubs, services and upcoming events. Stalls spread across the open-air park and the neighbouring halls, and the local shops and cafes are only steps away, so it is easy to make a morning of it. December brings a special Christmas Market edition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the market on every month?

The market runs on the first Saturday of every month except January. The December market is a Christmas Market.

Can I get there by train?

Yes. Knaith Road Park is just down the road from Ringwood East station on the Lilydale line.

Where is the market now held?

The market moved from the station car park on Railway Avenue to Knaith Road Park, behind the shopping strip, because of the Level Crossing Removal Program works.

How do I book a stall?

Book online through the Ringwood East traders website. All stallholders need their own $20 million public liability insurance. Stallholders must bring their own tables, marquees and weights. No power is available at stalls.
