Port Kembla CheerFest

Port Kembla CheerFest is the town's annual Christmas street festival, hosted by the Port Kembla Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Wentworth Street fills with festive market stalls, local talent and decorated shopfront windows. Local businesses run the activities, so the day works like a festive trail: wreath making with a florist, family arts and crafts with Red Point Arts, story time with coffee and cake at The Foundery, and pizza, food trucks and fairy floss further down the strip. Giving back is central to the day. The festival partners with The Salvation Army on a Giving Tree, toy drive and food drive for local families doing it tough at Christmas.
