Newrybar Twilight Market

Newrybar Community Hall hosts a relaxed twilight market that is part produce stop and part village dinner party. Locals and visitors from around the Byron hinterland pick up fresh fruit and vegetables, bulk foods, mushrooms, honey and freshly baked cakes, tarts and slices. Then they settle in for dinner from a rotating line-up of hot food vendors serving curries, pizza, burgers and langos. There is seating on the hall veranda and live music. Many families bring a picnic blanket and make an evening of it. The organisers keep adding stalls, so there is often a new face joining the market family.
