Bangalow Farmers Market

Nestled in the leafy Piccabeen Park near Bangalow's Heritage House Museum, the Bangalow Farmers Market is a sister market to one of Australia's longest-running farmers markets in Byron Bay - operating under the same not-for-profit, volunteer farmer committee. Every Saturday morning the park fills with stalls offering freshly harvested seasonal fruit and vegetables, pasture-raised meat and eggs, artisan cheese and bread, seafood, pasta, rice, nuts, honey, flowers and more. What sets Bangalow apart is the market's strict authenticity policy: every stallholder undergoes a thorough audit to verify that produce is genuinely locally grown or made - so shoppers can be confident they're buying directly from the people who produced it. A small number of Local Food Artisans complement the farmers' stalls, showcasing the finest food and drinks the Northern Rivers region has to offer.
