Mulgrave Farmers Market

Held rain, hail or shine on the grounds of Mulgrave Primary School, the Mulgrave Farmers Market has been connecting the City of Monash with regional growers, bakers, and producers every single Sunday since 2009. It claims the title of Melbourne's first weekly farmers market, and that regularity is part of what gives it a genuine village-hub atmosphere that weekly shoppers return to rather than treat as an occasional outing.

The stall mix spans fresh seasonal produce (berries, herbs, potatoes, stone fruit, avocados), specialty food (artisan bread, pastries, cheese, olive oil, salami, pasta, honey), ready-to-eat street food, and a growing range of makers and wellness traders on the 4th Sunday mixed market. A kids' area and live music round out the social side. All gold-coin entry fees go directly to Mulgrave Primary School to support students and families in need.
