Run by the Rotary Club of Oakleigh Clayton Huntingdale, the Oakleigh Rotary Sunday Market has been a fixture of the local community since 1986 - growing from a modest 20 spaces to a bustling 170-stall outdoor market at the corner of Hanover Street and Atherton Road. It draws a wide mix of casual browsers and dedicated bargain hunters every Sunday morning, with stalls covering everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, plants and flowers, and hot food, to new and secondhand clothing, hardware, bric-a-brac, and preloved books. The market is community-operated and all proceeds support Rotary's local and international programs, giving every purchase a feel-good purpose. Both permanent and casual stallholders are always welcome, with bookings managed online through Ozee Markets.
