About this market

Set in Ford Park in Merimbula's tourist strip between the Fishpen and Main Beach, this Rotary-run market pairs a morning of browsing with sea air and ocean views - and, in season, the chance to spot whales and dolphins breaching in the bay. Stalls spill across the park with treasures, jewellery, fashion, produce, food, plants, books, crafts and curios, growing from around 80 to 150 sites depending on the time of year. The park itself adds to the appeal, with a children's playground, ocean viewing platforms and a BBQ and picnic area right beside a surf beach. Organised by the Rotary Club of Merimbula, it has a welcoming, come-as-you-are community feel, and every dollar of profit goes back into local and international community projects.
