    About this market

Held on the first Sunday of every month from March to December, the Maitland Community Markets bring together more than 100 stalls of handmade, homegrown, and locally produced goods across the historic 84-acre Maitland Showground. Proudly hosted by the Hunter River Agricultural and Horticultural Association - a not-for-profit community organisation - all stallholder fees go directly back into running the markets and maintaining the grounds. Expect a relaxed mix of artisan makers, backyard gardeners, local farmers, food trucks, and live entertainment, making it a genuine community day out rather than a commercial shopping event. Indoor and outdoor stall areas mean there is always something to explore no matter where you wander on the grounds.
