    About this market

Glendale City Farmers Market brings together Lake Macquarie's finest farmers, producers and artisans every Saturday under a purpose-built undercover space next to Target at Stockland Glendale. Operated by NSW Farmers Market Pty Ltd - a company with roots in the Hunter region going back to 1999 - this is a well-established weekly market where you can buy direct from the people who grew, made or crafted what's on the table. The stall mix spans fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, pasture-raised meats (lamb, beef, pork, goat, chicken, duck), fresh trout, salmon and oysters, artisan breads and French pastries, handmade pasta, goat and sheep cheeses, organic sourdough, preserved foods, gourmet coffee and chai, and a wide range of hot breakfasts and street food from international cuisines including Colombian, Lebanese and Tibetan. Artisan and lifestyle stalls round out the offer with handcrafted soaps, hemp clothing, fair-trade products and handmade clothing. In July 2022 the market relocated from Speers Point Park and merged with Glendale Artisan Markets, combining both communities under one undercover roof - a bigger, busier and more sheltered experience for the Lake Macquarie community.
