Magpie Up Style Market

Tucked into Lawson Public School on the Great Western Highway, the Magpie Up Style Market is one of the Blue Mountains' most eclectic monthly gatherings - a relaxed mix of artisans, collectors, food vendors and local makers that draws visitors from across the mountains. The school's quadrangle hosts a dedicated foodies section, while surrounding stalls spill over with collectibles, second-hand finds, jewellery, plants, books, local arts and crafts, and an array of international street food including gozleme, yum cha and BBQ. The atmosphere is unhurried and community-minded - easy to spend a morning browsing, chatting with stallholders and catching up with locals. Street parking is plentiful around the site and the venue is a short, flat walk from Lawson train station, making it accessible by rail as well as car. Held on the third Sunday of each month (January excluded), it's a genuine all-ages outing with something for every kind of browser.
