About this market

Run by the volunteer, not-for-profit Kalamunda Chamber of Commerce, the Kalamunda Night Market turns the heart of the hills village into a traffic-free carnival on selected Friday evenings. Stalls spread through Central Mall and past the Town Hall, mixing handmade arts and crafts, jewellery and clothing with a long line-up of food trucks and street food, from Filipino and Moroccan to bratwurst, gozleme, chimney cakes and gelato. Local shops, restaurants and pubs stay open for the evening, and local musicians and street performers keep the atmosphere lively. It's built as a family night out that doesn't break the bank, and a handful of special editions move to Stirk Park, including a Christmas market in December.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the market always in Central Mall?

Most nights run around Central Mall between Haynes Street and Mead Street and down past the Town Hall to Barber Street. Special editions are held in Stirk Park, including 13 November and 18 December 2026 and 19 March 2027 (the home page also lists 23 October 2026 in Stirk Park). Check the market website or Facebook before you go.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs on a short leash are allowed in Central Mall but must be kept away from food stalls. Dogs are not allowed in Stirk Park, even on leash. It gets dark and very crowded, so organisers suggest leaving pets at home.

Where are the toilets?

Public toilets are at Town Hall Square, behind KADS, at the bus station in Mead Street and in Stirk Park.

Why do some dates finish earlier?

The March, April and May 2027 markets run 4-8pm instead of the usual 5-9pm.

How do I get a stall?

Register and apply through the Kalamunda Chamber of Commerce Stallholder Portal, or email markets@kalamundachamber.com with questions.
