About this market

Held on the first Saturday of each month from February through December, the Gordonvale Cottage Markets bring together over 130 stalls in the leafy surrounds of Norman Park at the centre of this historic sugar farming township. Convened by the local Scout Group - who channel all proceeds back into their youth program - the market draws stallholders from as far afield as Tully, Innisfail, Mareeba and Atherton, alongside locals from Gordonvale, Edmonton and the wider Cairns region. The result is a relaxed, genuinely community-minded atmosphere with hand-crafted and locally made goods, live music, and plenty of friendly faces. With something for every member of the family and a real country-town spirit, it has earned its reputation as a must-visit market in the Cairns region.
