Mt Sheridan Plaza Community Markets brings together more than 30 local stallholders from Far North Queensland on the second Sunday of every month, March through December. Held inside and around Cairns' largest southside shopping centre, the market is a genuine showcase of what the region grows, makes and produces - from homemade sweets and local honey to tropical plants, handcrafted jewellery, organic fruits and vegetables, handmade homewares, health and natural beauty products. The undercover setting means shoppers stay comfortable whatever the tropical weather brings, and the free face painting in Centre Court keeps little ones entertained while parents browse.
