Spread across the grassy parkland of the Gasworks Creative Precinct, this monthly market brings Victorian farmers and specialty makers straight to inner-Melbourne shoppers. Expect deep-coloured seasonal fruit and vegetables, free range eggs, just-cut flowers and hand-made cakes and jams, all grown, made and known by the people selling them. Accredited by the Victorian Farmers' Markets Association and named Outstanding Farmers' Market at the 2012 delicious. Produce Awards, it has a relaxed Saturday-morning feel shaped by buskers and the creative pulse of the arts park. The Gasworks Resident Artist Studios open their doors on market days, so a produce run can easily turn into a wander through working studios.
