About this market

Established more than half a century ago, the Evandale Sunday Market is one of Tasmania's best-known country markets and a fixture of the weekend for northern locals and visitors alike. More than 100 stalls spread across Falls Park in the historic Georgian village of Evandale, mixing antiques, collectibles and second-hand finds with handmade goods, plants, fresh local produce, food and coffee. It feels more like a rummage through a country town's attics and gardens than a polished food market, with regulars hunting for bargains alongside travellers making a stop on the way to or from nearby Launceston and its airport. The market is run by Evandale Antiques, which gives the collectables side real depth.
