About this market

Every December, the Minda Brighton campus transforms into one of South Australia's most-loved Christmas community events. The Community Christmas Carols and Markets draws thousands of visitors to the coastal suburb of North Brighton for an afternoon of live entertainment, festive carol singing, over 50 market stalls, food trucks, rides and amusements, face painting, a petting zoo, and a visit from Santa. The market side spans handmade crafts, candles, jewellery, pet supplies, Christmas goods, kids' clothing and toys - a genuine mix that gives local makers and small vendors real exposure on a big community stage. Entry and on-site parking are both free, and the event is designed with accessibility and inclusion at its heart: Minda is South Australia's largest not-for-profit intellectual disability service provider, and every dollar raised at this event helps bridge NDIS funding gaps so the people they support can live full, connected lives. Attending is itself a meaningful act of community - and the atmosphere reflects it.
