About this market
Set on the rolling hills of Bream Creek Showgrounds, this volunteer-run market has been connecting Tasmanians directly with local growers since 2012. With a genuine focus on seasonal produce sold by the people who grow and make it, visitors can explore everything from fresh vegetables and artisanal breads to locally made wines and ciders. The scenic location creates a relaxed atmosphere where families spread out on the grass with their market finds, enjoying live music and children's activities like face painting.

Frequently Asked Questions
What types of stallholders do you accept?
We welcome three categories: Farm Gate Producers (fresh Tasmanian produce), On-Site Food Stallholders (ready-to-eat meals with own equipment), and Artisans (handmade products with Tasmanian connection). All products must be grown, produced or sourced in Tasmania.
Can I sell products I've purchased elsewhere?
No, our market connects customers directly with growers, makers and producers. If you can't attend, a knowledgeable family member or staff member can sell on your behalf. For smaller quantities, consider our Community Stall option.
How do I get to the showgrounds?
Turn off the Arthur Highway at Copping, then follow Marion Bay Road for a few kilometres. Signs and banners are erected the week before each market to guide you.
