Tasmania's most famous market operating every Saturday since 1972 along Salamanca Place, with views of Mt Wellington. Over 300 stallholders showcasing Tasmanian-made arts, crafts, woodwork, jewellery, pottery, paintings, photography, fresh produce, gourmet foods, and unique souvenirs. Set against backdrop of historic sandstone warehouses and Hobart waterfront. Live buskers and street performers create vibrant atmosphere. Major tourist attraction and essential Hobart experience. Strong focus on Tasmanian makers and producers.
Dogs are not allowed in the market but we have an RSPCA run puppy parking service which provides specialist dog minding for a small fee. See website for details
