Adamstown Lions Markets

The Lions Club of Adamstown has proudly run their Sunday Markets at the corner of Brunker and Glebe Roads since 1987, making it one of the longest-running community markets in the Newcastle region. Operated entirely by volunteers, the market is the Lions Club's biggest fundraising venture, channelling proceeds back into the local community. Expect a wonderfully eclectic mix of stalls - opals, car parts, Italian paintings, jewellery, pot plants, pickles, antiques, bric-a-brac, pre-loved clothing, books, kids' toys, DVDs, cookies and more. A sausage sizzle and coffee cart keep shoppers fuelled throughout the morning. The market takes a break over Christmas and January, so check the Facebook page before visiting during the holiday period.
