Veg Out St Kilda Farmers Market is one of Melbourne's longest-running and most loved monthly markets, with over 20 years of bringing farm-direct produce to the bayside suburb of St Kilda. Held on the first Saturday of each month at the Peanut Farm Reserve - nestled behind the iconic Acland Street - it is an accredited Victorian Farmers Markets Association (VFMA) market, operated by the not-for-profit Veg Out Community Gardens St Kilda Inc. Proceeds go directly to maintaining the adjoining community garden, so every purchase supports both local growers and a greener St Kilda.

Expect an abundance of fresh, seasonal fruit and vegetables, free-range eggs and meats, artisan cheeses, breads, pasta, olive oils, honey, wines, jams, spice mixes and flowers - all grown or made by the people selling them. The stallholder list spans both certified organic and conventional producers from across Victoria, meaning low food miles and a genuine connection to the people behind your food. The market is plastic bag free, so bring your own baskets, bags or trolley. Breakfast and great coffee are on hand if you want to linger.
