Do I need to apply in advance to get a stall?
No application is needed. Simply arrive on the day, check in with the Market Manager (John), and you'll be directed to an available pitch. The market team does a round at 8:00 AM to formally register stalls, collect fees, and confirm insurance details.
Is public liability insurance required?
Yes, all stallholders must have public liability insurance. If you don't have your own, cover can be arranged on-site for a small additional fee of $10.
What are the rules for food vendors?
All food vendors must hold a valid food premises registration from Tweed Shire Council. Stalls may be inspected by a council officer. Contact Tweed Shire Council on (02) 6670 2400 for more information.
What time can stallholders arrive to set up?
Stall setup begins from 5:00 AM, one hour before the market opens to the public at 6:00 AM.
