    About this market

The Turramurra Community Flea Market is a beloved twice-yearly event held on the grounds of Turramurra Uniting Church, drawing bargain hunters, collectors and families from across Sydney's North Shore and beyond. Run entirely by volunteers from Turramurra Uniting and St Andrew's Uniting Churches, the market has a genuine neighbourhood warmth - a place to rummage through thousands of books sorted by subject, browse fine china and jewellery at "Mary's Stall", fill a bag of clothing for all ages, pick up potted plants, source hand tools from "Jack's Stall", and discover all manner of recycled treasure and bric-a-brac. Outside on the front lawns, private stallholders set up gazebos and open stalls selling art, crafts, handmade goods, jewellery, vintage clothing and plants. The cake stall turns out fresh home-baked slices, scones with jam and cream, and the BBQ fires up snags - making it as much a social occasion as a shopping one. All proceeds support local, national and international charitable causes, with beneficiaries including Parramatta Mission, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women's Shelter, Frontier Services and BlazeAid.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a stall?

Stall bookings are made and prepaid online via TryBooking (https://www.trybooking.com/DFFTE). Bookings for the next market open at the conclusion of the current event. If fully booked, email fleamarket@turramurrauniting.org.au to join the waitlist.

What stall sizes and prices are available?

There are three types: Colonnade (covered 3m x 3m premium) at $60; Gazebo-ready open stall (3m x 3m) at $50; and Small open stall (2m x 2m) at $40. There are also 7 carpark-adjacent chapel-side sites (2m x 2m) at $40. No equipment is provided - stallholders must bring their own tables, chairs and gazebo with weights.

When can I drop off donated goods?

Donations are accepted on the Thursday before the market only, from 10am to 7pm. Enter via the car park at the Turramurra Uniting complex. Only reasonable domestic quantities (2-5 boxes/bags) are accepted. Large, broken, dirty or incomplete items cannot be accepted.

    Is parking available?

There is no direct vehicle access to the stall areas, but a Ku-ring-gai Council carpark is adjacent to the church. The venue is also close to Turramurra train station.

What happens to unsold goods and market proceeds?

A dedicated Disposals team works to rehome unsold items with charities such as Parramatta Mission and local op shops. All net proceeds from the market go to charitable causes - local, rural Australian and overseas.
