Tootgarook Primary School Market

Once a month, the grounds of Tootgarook Primary School fill with a sprawling community market of around 250 stalls. It's a proper browse-and-wander affair, with handmade arts and crafts next to local fresh produce, gourmet foods, plants, clothing and tables of bric-a-brac. Tucked into the quieter backstreets of Tootgarook between Rosebud and Rye, it draws southern Mornington Peninsula locals and holidaymakers for an early-morning rummage. The mix of new, handmade and secondhand gives it more of a treasure-hunt feel than a straight produce market.
